pretty much explained it already...
you may have a TV that already has one.
our sony TV came with a remote that allows you to use it for TV, DVD and tuner.
can't remember how dad did it but dad held down some buttons and what not.
try google it

Custom Firmware is not pointless... Trust me, I mean WOW the capabilities are so amazing... It's a whole new world out there for your PSP if you have hacked it, and I initially thought that if everyone was downlaoding games, then they'll stop making them, but only a tiny percentage of people with PSPs have hacked theirs, so the game publishers will still keep making games, but one day they will stop regardless, most-likely because of a new generation hand-held or whatever. But, I mean, I honestly don't feel immoral about the whole "not-paying-for-games" situation, I think of it more of an opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I still do buy games. For example, I bought GTA LCS, GTA VCS, the Warriors and SOCOM FTB and this was AFTER I hacked my PSP... I do have more games, but you do catch my drift, right? Anyway, it is really up to you if you want to hack it or not, and I completely understand if you are hesitant and fearful because u might brick (break) it. Don't worry, I bricked my PSP the first time too. Then I just sent it to Sony and they gave me a free one, but the story of how I bricked it makes me feel a bit immoral. Anyway, I could keep typing, but I have realised that I have written an essay. So, yeah... Long story short, PSP is worth being hacked; there are risks; YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!

All my Games are originals. There is exception. I still enjoy games made in the mid eighties / nineties: shinobi, Ghost and goblins and street fighter II, just to name a hand full.
The thought of being able to play the classics on my PSP is hard to resist. I have no doubt I am being "seduced by the dark side".
