hmm will that white background be a problem?? 
EDIT: just put it on photoshop and use the magnetic lasso tool and it should go and cut it out directly...

Jezza, when you cut them out you can set a colour to transparent.
What format are these it?
PNG is usually good to save these type of thing in cause they dont lose quality.
JPEG's get compressed alot.

The only problem is I can't use photoshop.
I don't have it on this PC.
Been using a freeware program called GIMP.
