Ha, I am no longer a Postman. I have gone into law enforcement (City Ranger) starting the 19th.
In fact I am officially on Long Service Leave from Australia Post till the 7th July. Meanwhile I have found a new job and I am trying to steer a voluntary redundancy package (golden hand shake).
The force is strong with me ...........

Ahhh... hence the "pay-out". I thought you were happy with your current position? Still, at least being a city ranger you can fulfill our imaginations.

Ha ha ha, that was a good one Shadow (laughs out loud). I was happy in my old position, however, since I moved into the city I have wanted to work closer to home.
The City Rangers offers similar conditions to my previous employer and is less than a 10 minute walk to work.
Having said that, I thought if I can work a pay out and secure a new position so close to home it would be perfect for me.
Plus, I have been with post for 12 years now, I new challenge what not be such a bad thing.
I know how most people feel about City Rangers, I suppose that comes with the territory ........
